Government Attic - The fine fine folks over at Government Attic recently requested documents from the FCC under the Freedom of Information Act. Check out the complains about South Park. Complaints include: The uncut movie was... uncut, one of the characters said 'hell', Stan's dog is gay, talking poop, and well... the above complaint.
The FCC's answer to everything? "Programming considered indecent, obscene, violent or otherwise offensive to some viewers may be transmitted
over cable systems. The FCC cannot restrict Non-Broadcast (Cable) Programming."

Animated Philosophy - Thoughts by Alan Watts put to animations, produced by South Park's Trey Parker and Matt Stone.
"We thought of life by analogy with a journey, with a pilgrimage, which had a serious purpose at the end and the thing was to get to that end (success, heaven). But we missed the point the whole way along. It was a musical thing, and you were supposed to sing or to dance while music was being played."
