Microsoft DreamSpark - Free downloads of Visual Studio 2005 and Microsoft Expression Studio for students of most larger colleges (includes UW-Madison). They could have advertised this better BEFORE I purchased VS2005.

Johnny Lee's Wii Projects - Finger tracking, interactive white boards (a.k.a. Minority Report Screen), and making 3D worlds actually pop out at you with a 2D screen. I'm buying a Bluetooth adapter and trying this stuff out.

Processing - Some sort of partial physics/flocking algorithm software. I'm not entirely sure what it is or what it does, but it creates some cool projects.

Sorry for the lack of updates... for anyone that still visits. I've been busy programming image manipulation software, studying technical Japanese, Helping kick off the Hoofer Ski and Snowboard Club, and planning Homecoming Week (this week!).
Everything will die down starting next week, then I will be back to reading my regular amount of newspapers/magazines/books/blogs and sharing whatever I find interesting (and I hope you do too).
