Moving to all LEDs - Cree, "a manufacturer of LED solid-state lighting components" recently converted their offices to LEDs resulting in an energy savings of 48%. Not to mention their office looks a lot more open and inviting now too. I think LED lights will be hitting mainstream fairly soon. Even in the entertainment technology sector, 'the next big thing' is wireless LED lighting instruments for concerts and performances that use so little power that they can run off of batteries.
